Before Anupama can respond to Bharti's question about whether Sarita will be joining them, Preet teases her by telling her to go sit in Sarita's lap if she truly misses her. Anupama politely asks Preet to refrain from arguing with Sarita, but Preet is adamant that Sarita won't be there today. Sarita will, Anupama assures her. Anupama is interrupted by Rajini as the Dance Ranis start their practice session.

Rajini is introduced to Anupama's team. Rajini talks candidly about how she forgot to be herself in the process of becoming a social worker, politician, and celebrity. She says that having Anupama around has made it easier for her to relive her early years. Rajini surprises Anupama by bringing her tamarind, which she used to give her as a "bribe" to finish her homework. Anupama remembers with fondness how she worked on Rajini's assignments for Tamarind even on Sundays. She asks Rajini how she got into politics out of curiosity.

In the meantime, Parag appears tense at another location, and Vasundhara questions him. Parag acknowledges that he is afraid of losing money if he invests the majority of his funds in the Chawl redevelopment project. Vasundhara gives him encouragement, and Gautam says that everything will work out if Rajini backs their project. In college, Parag remembers studying with a person by the name of Rajini. Gautam discreetly informs Vasundhara that Anupama presently resides in the exact chawl they intend to demolish after Parag departs. Vasundhara is thrilled by this and gives Gautam the order to expedite the project because she wants Anupama to fall. Gautam chooses to keep this information from Parag.

Back with Anupama, Rajini talks about her difficult journey—despite having once loved someone else, she married a politician who was later murdered. She discloses that her daughter is studying overseas and her son aspires to become a politician. Anupama gets upset when she hears about her difficulties. Anupama is then asked by Rajini to describe her own trip to Mumbai. After listening, Rajini tells Anupama that she can always count on her and acknowledges how difficult her journey has been. Anupama starts to think about asking Rajini to assist the people living in the chawl.

Anil asks Raja about his rising costs at the Kothari mansion. He is also confronted by Meeta and Vasundhara. Feeling trapped, Raja erupts, declaring that he will now do as he pleases because everyone in the Kothari family enjoys freedom but not him. Although Vasundhara and Parag purposefully avoid discussing Raja, Prem and Rahi observe that he appeared happier when he was with Pari.

Mahi later requests that Rahi prepare ginger water for Gautam and tea for everyone. Rahi firmly advises her to prepare it on her own. A heated argument results from Mahi making fun of Rahi's lack of literacy. Rahi is supported by Khyati. Rahi is teased by Vasundhara, who also tells her to emulate Mahi. Rahi responds angrily that she would sooner die than look like Mahi. Rahi boldly declares that she will one day rule the house and the business after Mahi calls her a loser. Mahi is left speechless and agitated.

In another scene, Pari shows Nirofer her designs. Nirofer manipulates her while feigning assistance, taking the designs and promising to show them to her team. Pari lets her take them, naively believing her.

In the meantime, Anupama asks Rajini to talk to Sarita so she can go back to the Dance Ranis. However, Sarita confronts Anupama angrily when she gets there, accusing her of complaining to Rajini about her. Sarita then asks Rajini directly about the plans for the redevelopment of the chawl. Anupama is optimistic despite the tension because she believes Rajini will support the residents of the chawl in their fight.

Summary: Anupama is suddenly accused of serving unhealthy food while practicing dance with the Dance Ranis. She makes every effort to demonstrate her innocence, but nobody pays attention. In the end, she is informed that she will either have to pay a large fine or go to jail.
