Kaveri tries to keep the mood upbeat as the family gets together for an event with guests. She proudly introduces Vidya as the center of the Poddar family, but when Vidya loses control of her emotions and lashes out in public, her attempt at harmony fails. Her accusations that Kaveri is secretly dividing the family while feigning love are more hurtful than one might anticipate. With her pride crumbling in front of everyone, Kaveri stands motionless. Sensing the fracture in the family's flawless image, the guests stop talking. When Armaan and Abhira try to comfort Vidya, the harm has already been done.

Deeply embarrassed, Kaveri withdraws into herself and stealthily exits the event. The family realizes too late that their rage has driven her too far as they frantically look for her. A few hours later, everyone is terrified by Kaveri's absence; even Vidya's face goes pale as guilt takes the place of rage. Everyone is more unnerved by her composure upon her eventual return than by her disappearance.

Kaveri makes a startling announcement about her decision to split the property, saying she no longer wants to be the cause of family strife. Although Vidya is crying uncontrollably, Kaveri's silence is more powerful than her sorrow.

Everyone in the Poddar home is shaken by the unimaginable realization that Kaveri has left. Panic spreads from room to room as her absence looms like a heavy cloud. Meera sobs first, saying that her grandmother left with her and didn't turn around. Although the family makes an effort to comfort her, their own fear is evident. At last, Armaan loses patience. Before he can stop himself, the words start to flow as he turns to face Vidya. He reminds her that Kaveri put her on a pedestal, trusted her more than anyone else, and treated her like a daughter. However, it was Vidya who caused her the greatest pain. Vidya sobs in helplessness, demanding that Kaveri could have chastised her, yelled at her, even punished her, but why did she leave the house? Why take such a drastic action?

Madhav, meanwhile, gives the police the order to find Kaveri right away. He tells the team that she left without a driver, her purse, any money, and her phone turned off since the early hours of the morning. Every little detail makes the family more anxious. Understanding that every minute matters, he exhorts the force to start a search.

As Armaan reveals the harsh reality that the Poddars required Kaveri to divide the house, which went against everything she held dear, the atmosphere in the house becomes oppressive. She had a lifelong, spiritual, and emotional bond with the house. It broke her heart to be asked to break it.
