Abhira shows up with the crucial documents that Armaan requested. She inquires as to why he is employed by Shyam Hari Mittal. Armaan informs her that he has taken up his daughter Meher's case.

He claims that if he worked from home instead of concentrating on the case, he would be distracted by his family's anxiety all the time. For this reason, he chose to use Shyam Mittal's cabin. Armaan claims that despite receiving such a large case, Abhira is unhappy.

Abhira inquires as to whether he consented in a single meeting and whether this is the same murder case. Armaan informs her that there was no room for refusal after witnessing Meher's condition. He claims that Meher became stuck in a situation similar to what Abhira once did. He is adamant that this was an act of self-defense rather than murder. He claims to be making every effort to secure a hearing date before the end of the year. Abhira continues to appear anxious. Armaan inquires about her thoughts and her level of trust.

According to Abhira, she wants to be certain because this is a well-known case. Armaan claims that his confidence stems from his desire for justice for a girl who has been tortured. Additionally, he assures her that if he prevails in this case, he will make enough money to repurchase the company and give it back to Kaveri, reinstating their lost heritage.

Krish gives his watch as payment when the waiter brings the bill because he is short on cash. The thugs begin to control him. They claim that he was able to give his watch today, but what about tomorrow? How is he going to drink? How is he going to live?

They claim to be able to assist him in making money. Armaan will undoubtedly prevail, according to Krish. They wager that they will give Krish fifty lakhs if Armaan loses the case. Tempted, Krish gives in. They claim to be merely friends who are supporting him. However, Krish has to assist them in meeting Abhira if Armaan prevails. Why, Krish wonders? When they return to the Poddar residence, Abhira gives Kaveri her gift and requests that she open it. Miara opens it while Kaveri stays silent. Abhira has given the Poddar company a keychain, telling Kaveri that it symbolizes their future and that Armaan will soon put in a lot of effort to return the company's keys.

Kaveri gets sentimental. Abhira gives her a hug. The whole family starts to feel emotional. Together, everyone cuts the cake. However, Abhira worries about Armaan and the family even during the festivities.

When Abhira arrives at Armaan's office late at night, he is still at work. Why did she arrive so late, he asks? Abhira says she brought cake and wanted to spend Christmas with him.
She expects Armaan to feed her the cake, but he eats it himself while working because he is so busy and stressed. Abhira asks him to take a quick break and informs him that she has also brought dinner for them to share. Armaan claims that she will grow bored and that he will continue to be engrossed in his work even while eating. He tells her to go home because he doesn't want her to ruin her joyous occasion. Despite her hurt feelings, Abhira tells him to call if he needs anything and walks away.

Abhira receives a message stating the date of her case hearing. Armaan claims that since this is her last hearing, no other attorney may represent her.

He is reassured by Abhira that she will take care of everything and make the necessary arrangements so that Kaveri and the family won't have any issues. Thanking her, Armaan says he can only concentrate on his case because of how well she is managing the family. He assures her that he will take care of the house so she can concentrate on her health and tranquility and asks her not to take any more cases after this.
